Long before Dakloni became a name on a shelf, it was a jar of hand-ground masala in an Odisha kitchen — mixed the way spices have been mixed in Indian homes for generations, with no shortcuts and no substitutes. That single recipe, refined over decades, is still the standard every batch of Dakloni masala is measured against today.
In 1985, that home recipe took its first step into the market. What started as a small, family-run operation has since grown into Green Chocy Private Limited, the company behind the Dakloni brand — but the goal has never changed: masala that tastes like it was ground at home, because it still is.
